Earls Kitchen Bar - Calgary: Exceptional Dining Experience Awaits

I had an exceptional experience at Earl's Kitchen + Bar - Southcentre, and a significant part of that was thanks to our wonderful server, Spencer. From the moment we were seated, he made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Spencer is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive to our needs. He consistently checked in on us, making sure we were having a great evening. Spencer truly made our dining experience unforgettable! The food was excellent, and the ambiance was warm, inviting, and cozy. It is an ideal spot for casual gatherings with family and friends, as well as for special occasions. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making my birthday dinner extra special!

Earl’s delivered another 5 star meal for my wife and I tonight. We both went with the blackened chicken, my wife had only the warm potato salad s a side and I went with the potato salad and a coleslaw. Our waiter, Yousuf, ensured we were well looked after and the meal was served quickly. Blackened chicken was as good as always and no other restaurant makes warm potato salad like Earls can! Looking forward to our next visit.

This location is really nice inside, great seating with plenty of booths. Came in as a group of 4 and we received our orders within about 15 minutes. Food was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We recently visited Earls Southcentre to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the experience was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. Our server Spencer was attentive and always a step ahead. The food was outstanding—each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The restaurant even surprised us with a special birthday treat, which was a thoughtful touch that made the celebration even more memorable. We left feeling truly appreciated as guests and are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great food and excellent service!

Would absolutely return again! The aburi salmon press sushi was delicious: rich in flavour and great texture. The flame searing definitely gives it a leg up. Personally, I thought that the jalapeño could have given the sushi more of a kick, but that is a personal preference. The greens and sauce paired perfectly with the sushi. For dessert, the white chocolate crème brûlée was just the right level of sweetness and the cream and berries made it much lighter. The torched sugar part broke apart perfectly and pairs well with the custard. The service was friendly and quick, and there was very little waiting time in between ordering and receiving our food for a group of 4. A booking is a must especially on the weekend since it’s such a population spot!

We went for lunch on weekend thinking it would have a long wait time for 5 guests on Christmas season. I was surprised to get seated and service was great. All foods we ordered taste great accompanied by an inviting atmosphere. I recommend calamari, pizza, and sticky toffee pudding.

Great patio and food -but the highlight across both of our visits was the service (Darby yesterday and Alexa today). Just the right level of attentiveness, friendly, and very accommodating. We ordered a poke bowl to share but my wife can’t eat raw fish atm, and Alexa offered to serve it split it across two bowls with the tuna on the side. 1.5 weeks into our holiday and eating out every meal -this location stood out as the best service we’ve experienced!

The new Earls flagship location at Southcentre Mall is absolutely stunning — modern, spacious, and such a beautiful upgrade. I ordered the chicken Hunan noodle bowl, a classic Earls dish, and it was just as consistently good as I remember. My friend had the poke bowl, which was fresh, vibrant, and another menu staple that never disappoints. This location is leaps and bounds better than others I’ve been to in terms of ambiance and food quality. That said, during the Stampede rush, I did find the service a bit lacking in attentiveness. The staff were friendly and doing their best, but I’m probably at an age now where I appreciate a more seasoned server, especially at this price point. Still, I’d definitely come back — it’s a great spot for a nice meal with elevated surroundings.
